A decade of holding space

In 2016, Angela started with a simple mission: to heal the mind and move the body. Ten years later, AP Counseling + Yoga has grown into a community of practitioners.

We are now AP + Co Collective because healing is better together.

AP + CO Collective

For a decade, we’ve honored the bridge between the mind and the body. But we’ve realized that the most profound healing happens when we stop working in silos. AP + Co Collective isn’t a departure from our roots; it’s the realization of them.

We’ve added more voices, more modalities, and more ways to support you while keeping the same compassionate care you’ve trusted for 10 years.

You’ve walked with us this far now, come meet the rest of the team.

Why the Collective?

with care, Angela

Mindful Movement

At the Collective, movement is never "just a workout" it is a therapeutic gateway to the self. Every class, whether in person or inside our Digital On-Demand Studio, is strictly trauma and eating disorder-informed. We’ve stripped away the noise of diet culture to focus on embodied, non-performative somatic practices.

Whether you are joining us from your living room or our studio floor, we provide the tools to process what words alone cannot reach, honoring your body’s pace and boundaries.

A Decade of Heart, A Collective of Expertise

I'm Angela  and I founded this practice 10 years ago in a single office with a couch and a yoga mat.  Today, I’ve gathered the practitioners I trust; specialists in trauma, grief, and eating disorders to ensure you have the exact support you need.

A unified collective rooted in shared values and specialized care

“As a counselor myself, I'm intentional about who I see for therapy. Over the years, I've seen a few different AP therapists, and they have all always been compassionate and supportive. I've always appreciated their holistic approach, which has been validating when processing my anxiety. I never feel like coping skills are thrown at me without validating and understanding my perspective.:

- Anna -

"Seeing Angela has really been a game changer this year for my mental health! Excited to see how much progress we can make next year! Also, the sound bath sessions Angela hosts are phenomenal!"

-Kaylee -

- Rachel -

"First class I’ve ever been to that focused on connecting with my body , not just performance or pushing."

- Jenny-

Angela has been the missing piece I needed all along in my eating disorder recovery. Through all the ups and downs over the years, she has always been there. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!."

Your Questions, Answered.

Can I book JUST therapy or JUST yoga? Or do I have to be involved in both of those services?

Not at all. You can book just therapy or just yoga. However, many of our clients find that "Mindful Movement" helps process the emotions that come up in "Talk Therapy." They are separate services designed to work beautifully together.

We are a membership based collective. This means that while each therapist or movement guide is an independent business owner responsible for their own practice and booking, they have gained access to the Collective by proving their commitment to our high standards of trauma-informed and anti-diet care. We provide them with the business support and clinical community they need to thrive, so they can provide you with the best care possible.

Because our members are independent entities, they manage their own insurance contracts and billing systems. This structure allows us to host a diverse range of specialists: from grief and ADHD experts to somatic yoga teacher ensuring you always find the specific expertise your story requires.

What are your fees?

Each therapist has their own fees for their services based on their level of expertise. Our rates on average  are between $140-$250 a session.

What does "Non-Diet" and "Weight-Inclusive" actually mean?

What is the first step to becoming a client?

Do I have to do both Yoga and Therapy?

How are the practitioners at AP + Co connected?

Why does my billing look different for different providers?

It means your body is safe here. We do not focus on weight loss or "fixing" your size. We focus on healing your relationship with food and your physical self. We believe health exists at every size, and we will never use a scale as a metric of your worth or progress.

Do you provide telehealth or in person sessions?

We offer both!

We have practioners that provide both  inperson and virtual services in our East Dallas Office and practioners that only provide remote telehealth based services.

Everything you need to know about our evolution, our values, and how we work together.
